Description:
Apple Country Orchards is a pick-it-yourself orchard where more than 6,000 trees offer visitors 30 varieties of apples. An on-site bakery features succulent German apple cake and other treats for those tired of picking; and guests can drop by the cider mill, picnic beside the waterfall or have lunch at the orchard's "Country Cafe." The orchards lie about 15 miles northeast of Lubbock, past the town of Idalou.
